Established by Tim Turvey and Helma van den Berg almost 30 years ago, Clearview Estate Winery, Vineyards & Clearview Estate Red Shed Restaurant is situated on the coastline of Hawke’s Bay, in the Te Awanga sub-region. Against all the odds Tim and Helma have built up the Estate, planting vines and trees, establishing the restaurant and renovating the historic homestead.
Today the business remains proudly family owned and operated. Tim oversees the vineyards and works with winemakers Matt Kirby & Rob Bregmen to create the legendary, much awarded wines. Helma manages the finance & payroll, restaurant, gardens, & personnel with her team. Steeped in history, Clearview Estate Winery Cellar Door & Clearview Estate Red Shed Restaurant has become an iconic and awarded destination for both locals and visitors from afar.
Clearview Beachhead Chardonnay
A full bodied chardonnay, barrel fermented - cashew-nut aromatics supported by a creamy, stone-fruit & peach flavour profile. Mouth-filling & finely textured with a balancing, piquant acidity carrying the wine to a long, lingering, nutty, flinty finish - the stable mate of our Reserve Chardonnay, exhibiting many similar characters.

Black Reef Blush meshes summer aromatics of bright red fruits with spicy elements of clove and anise lending itself to food matches no matter the season. A vibrant rosé with a spine of Chambourcin, a French hybrid rarely planted in NZ.
