Black Reef Blush meshes summer aromatics of bright red fruits with spicy elements of clove and anise lending itself to food matches no matter the season. A vibrant rosé with a spine of Chambourcin, a French hybrid rarely planted in NZ. Best consumed while young and fruity.

A juicy and luscious black-fruited Syrah with floral, herb and peppery notes on a fresh, supple palate. Made with 100% Te Awanga grown fruit. Desirable in its youth but with enough structure that cellaring will also be beneficial.

A blend of our best Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, solidly packed with rich and succulent dark plum and blackberry fruit with nuances of boysenberries and liquorice, interwoven with spices and cedary oak, supported by fine-grained tannins. A wonderful, enigmatic experience!

A dense and rich expression of the Merlot from our Te Awanga vineyards with 12% Malbec. Dark, rich aromas of plum & tar, a plush round palate with fine grained tannins. Formerly called Cape Kidnappers Merlot Malbec. Drink now for a fruitier style or cellar for more complex flavours.

A sweetly ripe, elegant, aromatic Cabernet Sauvignon blend with blackcurrant, cassis & herb flavours on a fresh, fine-textured palate. Age from 3 to 12 years, earlier for a more fruit driven style.

Hawke’s Bay has become renowned as one of the top regions for Syrah, with flavours and a style unique to its terroir. This wine is no exception, with 100% Te Awanga grown fruit. The wine is highly aromatic with notes of purple berry and anise, supported by fine tannins concentrated berry and black pepper flavours. Drink now or cellar until 2025.
